What will you do?
As an Atlassian administrator, you will be directly responsible for the installation, configuration, and management of the MiWay Atlassian environment. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient functioning of our Agile teams.
What will make you successful in this role?
Minimum Qualification Required
• Grade 12 Senior Certificate
• Atlassian Certified Associate will be advantageous.
Minimum Experience
• 5+ years of relevant job experience in an enterprise environment using Confluence, Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Crucible, Bamboo and Bitbucket cloud-based products.
• 5+ Years if IT Support/Administration experience in an enterprise environment
• Must have experience with corporate infrastructure automation.
• Must be proficient in at least one or more scripting languages and experience with APIs and webhooks.
• Must have a broad understanding of agile software development practices.
• Must be proficient in both verbal and written communication in English.
• Must be proficient in extracting information from the Atlassian suite, and creating reports/dashboards that can be used to monitor and evaluate team performance.
Deliverables include, but will not be limited to
• Management of Atlassian tools on a day-to-day basis, including such tasks as user administration, access and permissions, workflow and space development, and general administrative tasks required by core users.
• Work with business users to evaluate JIRA and Confluence plug-ins, determine licensing needs, and perform testing, installation, and configuration of the plug-ins.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and perform all required efforts to design, build, and implement effective, scalable, and adaptable solutions to advance the business.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and to design and implement Jira Service Management across different departments within the business.
• Integrate Atlassian tools with other systems, eg GIT, CI/CD Pipelines etc.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting in the Atlassian environment.
• Assist users with Atlassian tool usage and provide training as required.
