Description 

A vacancy for this position currently exists at MiWay Head Office: Kosmosdal, reporting to the Financial Operations Manager. 


Result Areas

•    JDE system processing of management expenses payments.  
•    Investigate accounts payable issues as needed.
•    Monthly reconciliation of supplier’s accounts.
•    Updating fixed asset register on JDE system and processing depreciation journals.
•    Fixed Asset reconciling.
•    Company Credit card administration.
•    Monthly reconciling of Visa Spend System to JDE system (GL). 
•    Fleet card administration. 
•    New applications, cancellations, and amendments.
•    Prepare monthly accrual schedule.
•    Quarterly submissions (Reserve Bank and SASRIA)
•    Ad Hoc Projects.

What will make you successful in this role:

Minimum Qualification 

•    BCom Degree or equivalent Finance qualification 

 

Knowledge

•    IFRS 
•    Tax acts (VAT)
•    JD Edwards General Ledger
•    Best Practices
•    Basic level of Excel skill

Minimum Requirements 

  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
  • Must be South African Citizens
  • Must be unemployed (Interns must have less than 6 months previous employment for consideration)
  • Should not have been on an internship with INSETA before
  • Must have a completed relevant qualification a degree or diploma
