What will you do?

The Head of Claims & Legal will head up the Claims & Legal team to oversee effective operations within Broker, Direct and Digital Claims for Personal and Business Insurance. This includes managing partner relations and improving loss ratio initiatives.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Managing average claims cost and value chain
  • Ensuring call centre service levels
  • Service delivery to clients and brokers
  • Managing MANEX
  • Operational reporting for Broker and Direct Claims
  • Formulating department strategy
  • Continuous improvement and efficiencies
  • Managing relationships with service providers
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Process optimisation
  • Tracking TCF outcomes
  • Budget decision-making within mandate

Minium Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications will be advantageous. 

 

Minimum Experience:

  • Senior management experience in managing claims teams and Legal Recoveries and Liabilities Experience teams.
