We are looking for a motivated Strategic Initiatives Analyst to support and help coordinate key strategic initiatives across Miway. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, tracking progress, and helping ideas move from concept into action. The role works closely with teams across the business and supports senior leaders by providing clear updates, insights, and structured reporting on new initiatives, pilots, and proofs of concept (POCs).
What will make you successful in this role?
Minimum Qualification Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or related field
Minimum Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in insurance or financial services
Deliverables include, but will not be limited to:
• Research local and international best practices and summarise key learnings that can be applied at Miway
• Support the coordination and tracking of strategic initiatives, pilots, and POCs across different teams
• Collect and compile information on initiative progress, including sales performance, key milestones, risks, and next steps
• Maintain accurate tracking tools, spreadsheets, and dashboards, ensuring information is up to date and actions are followed up
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting by gathering inputs from stakeholders and consolidating them into clear, structured updates
• Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing packs for management and executive meetings
• Help keep initiatives moving by tracking deadlines, coordinating actions, and highlighting areas where support or decisions are needed
Competencies Required:
This role suits someone who is curious, organised, and keen to learn how strategy is executed in a real business. The candidate should be comfortable working with numbers, analysing data, and turning information into simple, clear insights. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are important, along with a practical, “get-things-done” mindset. The role also requires good written and verbal communication skills, as it involves working with different teams and engaging with senior stakeholders in a professional and confident manner. A positive attitude, willingness to take ownership, and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment are essential.
