This role reports directly to the MiWay Learning & Development Manager.
- Craft engaging learning experiences: Develop innovative training programmes using effective techniques to keep learners motivated and empowered.
- Build a thriving learning community: Foster a collaborative environment where employees can learn from each other and support one another's growth.
- Become a strategic partner: Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure learning and development initiatives align with business objectives.
- Measure the impact: Track the effectiveness of your programmes and continuously strive to improve and enhance employee performance.
In this role, you will:
Do you thrive on helping others excel? Our Learning & Development team is searching for a Sales Facilitator to make a real impact!
- Empower sales agents through engaging classroom training and personalised coaching.
- Become a knowledge expert by identifying training needs through sales audits.
- Ensure success by applying various assessment methods to measure advisor competency.
- Make a difference with a passion for staff development, customer satisfaction, and driving business results.
- In this role, you will be the mastermind behind our employee development programmes. You will assist in the design and deliver training that equips our team with the skills they need to excel in their roles and take their careers to the next level.
Minimum Qualification Required
- Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4
- HR Degree/Diploma (desirable but not essential)
- An understanding of the role of Learning & Development in the organisation
Minimum Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience
- Minimum 2 years in the Short-Term Insurance environment
- Minimum 1 year coaching and or training experience
- Previous Sales experience would be beneficial

The successful candidate must be able to:
- Plan and deliver identified learning initiatives and formally assessing their effectiveness.
- Analyse and identify training and development needs.
- Report on learning activities and manage related administrative tasks.
- Engage stakeholders throughout the learning process.
- Establish procedures to monitor the delivery of promised outcomes.
- Drive their own upskilling and development.
- Ensure the Learning & Development function offers a quality, cost-effective service.
- Continuously demonstrate and embody the MiWay values.
- Travel occasionally, if required.
The role responsibilities include the following:
- Planning, designing, creating, and executing L&D programs aligned with business objectives to support the management team, ensuring they are outcomes-based.
- Conducting audits and research to identify the best training delivery methods, including face-to-face, eLearning, and blended approaches.
- Facilitating end-to-end training as needed, utilising existing business resources.
- Staying updated with business changes and revising learning materials accordingly.
- Conducting refresher training as required.
- Sending quarterly updates on learning interventions to relevant business stakeholders.
- Developing and designing learning materials suitable for e-learning, microlearning, and face-to-face sessions.
- Ensuring sign-off on learning materials and assessments from subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Facilitating effective and quality training sessions for the business.
- Evaluating the training provided for effective and measurable outcomes.
- Reviewing current training offerings, including the MiWay Induction, to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Partnering with stakeholders on new projects and enhancements requiring training.
- Reporting monthly on all training conducted to L&D Manager.
- Working with the training coordinator to ensure appropriate training for all new employees in line with their roles.
- Implementing a training schedule for all employees in agreement with business area stakeholders.
