What will you do?


Output/Core Tasks:

  • Testing the soundness and stability of new and existing programs on different systems, including Epsilon and Actuarial Systems.
  • Liaison with Basis writers, programmers, analysts and the users of Epsilon and DWH.
  • Testing of the Epsilon exits/actual claims daily as well as other value transactions done on the system.
  • Testing of Stratus values on Epsilon and the DWH/interfaces including test planning and test progress reporting during Millennium releases.
  • Testing of renewal control for Epsilon preceding month after DWH monthly load.  Investigate differences and log defects or report Epsilon errors to the relevant squad.
  • Handling of Audit and other ad-hoc queries and tasks

What will make you successful in this role?



  • Mathematics up to Grade 12 (C-symbol or higher)
  • B-Degree with a Mathematical or Computational major will be advantageous.


Experience & Knowledge:

  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Sound knowledge of Epsilon bases and Epsilon products 
  • Knowledge and an understanding of the Epsilon system interface processes, programs and role players affecting Epsilon tasks and Releases with value calculations and DWH interface impacts
  • Experience in programming will be advantageous
