What will you do?

Sanlam Private Wealth crafts customised investment portfolios for high net worth private clients, charitable institutions, trusts and corporate entities.

What will make you successful in this role?

•    Responsible for end-to-end processing of all Offshore client payments, including payments between platforms, life wrapper withdrawals, first and third party payments 
•    Responsible for processing and monitoring cash payment 
•    Responsible for answering all cash queries (internal and external) related to offshore cash movements / payments
•    Responsible for ensuring successful settlement of all client cash payments, and resolving payment issues as and when they arise
•    Responsible for liaising with relevant cash teams of vendors 
•    Responsible for ensuring all supporting documents for exchange control requirements are submitted to the authorized dealer within prescribed deadlines for successful settlement of cash transactions.
•    Investigate and resolve bank reconciliation items liaise with the Finance team, when necessary, to resolve bank reconciliation items. 

Qualification and experience

•    Financial qualification Any further qualifications in business and experience in cash processing will be advantageous.
•    2 – 3 years experience 

Knowledge and experience

•    Extensive Financial Service / Stockbroking experience required
•    Deep understanding of international financial markets including the clearing and settlement processes
•    Detailed understanding of the Private Client business and the stock-broking environment
