What will you do?

 

Output/Core Tasks:

 

A perfect opportunity for a senior student looking to gain exposure to database management systems, solvency assessment and shareholder management. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Compiling and presenting of solvency results as required by the Financial Soundness Standard for Insurers. 
  • Integrating liability databases into the solvency reporting process. 
  • Continuous improvement and automation of existing processes. 
  • Other ad-hoc tasks such as investigations into solvency changes, stress tests and ICS calculations that may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Nearly qualified Actuary 

 

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Actuarial modelling and data analytic skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of life insurance products 
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office suite 
  • Prophet experience is advantageous 
  • Methodical approach to work 
  • Strong commitment to deadlines and sound time management 
  • Strong communication
