What will you do?
The role of the Business Analyst is to ensure the smooth and effective running of the Intermediary Support and Compliance business systems and applications, related processes, and integration points with other systems and applications. The role is also responsible to reduce and prevent any business risks associated with the use of systems and to manage and facilitate the resolution of system issues, as well as driving any enhancements that are identified or suggested.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements (BRS) and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in documentation using UML and BPMN.
Process & Business Solutions Optimization
- Identify opportunities for business process improvements and optimized solutions.
- Manage interdependencies across products, ensuring standardized technical demand and workflow alignment.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Engage with business and technical teams to prioritize business needs and facilitate decision-making.
- Provide clear and concise reports on business analysis progress and insights.
- Represent product owners in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups and backlog prioritization.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and manage test scenarios to ensure business requirements are met with accurate solutions.
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure integrity across data pipelines.
Data & Reporting
- Create and manage database structures, ensuring efficient data storage and organization for ETL processes.
- Provide structured reports summarizing business analysis insights and findings.
Knowledge Management & Competency Development
- Maintain and standardize business analysis documentation for easy access and distribution.
- Mentor junior analysts, fostering a strong business analysis competency within the division.
Research & Innovation
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to enhance business solutions.
Operational & Support Functions
- Convert business support requests into trackable tasks and manage analyst capacity for support activities.
- Ensure efficient time management, prioritization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification and Experience
• Relevant diploma or degree
• Business Analyst qualification will be advantageous.
• AWS knowledge/experience will be advantageous
• At least 4-5 year’s work experience in the financial services industry
• Knowledge of intermediary tools, especially Leads Management System will be advantageous.
