Position Overview

This role is about measurement, visual data storytelling, enabling access to performance facts and supporting decisions at scale. You don’t just report metrics; you build impactful visualisations where the data speaks clearly and in time for action.

What will you do?

  • We have a clear, trusted view of the performance of all our business units: Work with business units to clearly and definitively define what performance is for them and how it is measured consistently in data. You will partner with analytics engineers, data scientists, and domain teams to ensure high-quality, interoperable datasets that support performance transparency.
  • Leaders can understand performance in minutes, not meetings: Build and maintain insight-rich performance dashboards that tell clear stories at multiple levels (exec summary → BU deep dive → driver exploration). Success will be measured by the time-to-clarity for leaders and how often the dashboards are used in decision-making rhythms.
  • Performance facts are delivered in time to shape decisions: Ensure that performance dashboards and reports are available within the cadence of stakeholder decision-making, whether daily, weekly, or in critical business moments.
  • Performance narratives are communicated clearly across levels of stakeholders: Turn complex performance signals into crisp, actionable narratives that work for different audiences – from functional teams and BU heads to exec leadership. Success will be measured by the clarity and consistency with which performance is described across the organization.
  • Routine reporting becomes scalable and self-service: Minimise time spent on repetitive reporting by building robust reporting products that answer recurring questions, reduce ad-hoc requests, and improve operational awareness. Success will be measured by reduced reporting overhead and increased stakeholder self-sufficiency.

Qualification and Experience

  • 3+ years in insights producing role as a data scientists / analyst 
  • Proven track record of visual data story telling with Tableau (preferred) or Power BI
  • Proven track record of defining KPIs/metrics that influenced decision-making 
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders
  • Strong data storytelling and communication skills, comfortable engaging with non-technical executives
