What will you do?

This in an internship for graduates who require work experience in order to gain a professional qualification or unemployed graduates who require work experience to become more marketable.


Output/Core Tasks:
This is a 12-month contract position allowing the incumbent to gain relevant work experience in the financial services industry. The individual will be exposed to training and office administration whilst being part of the Regional Office team at SanlamConnect.

• Provide administrative support to the Regional Management Team.
• Assist Financial Advisers and Brokers with marketing and client engagement activities.
• Support the planning and coordination of regional marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Assist with the organisation and execution of events, sponsorships, roadshows, and client functions.
• Conduct basic competitor research and gather market intelligence to support marketing activities.
• Monitor digital marketing and social media trends and share relevant insights with the team.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of marketing and communication materials.
• Support the tracking and reporting of marketing activities and event outcomes.
• Assist with monitoring new business received and compiling related reports.
• Provide support with account payments, supplier liaison, and general marketing administration.

What will make you successful in this role?

Qualifications & experience:  
•    Grade 12 or equivalent 
•    Business related National Diploma or Degree (Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Management and or Public Relations)
•    Preferably no or very limited previous working experience


Knowledge and skills:   
To be successful you will need to demonstrate good experience in:
•    Successful candidate should be unemployed
•    Knowledge of and experience in MS Office
