Key responsibilities
- Draft letters in respect of Medical Underwriting
- Handle member queries
- Finalizing of Medical Decisions for Group Risk schemes
- Liaising with intermediaries, clients and front offices where necessary
- Prepare medical documents for the underwriters and doctors
- Handling problems and complex enquiries regarding Risk products in the designated sphere of responsibility
- Provide professional support to both internal and external clients with regards to the Group RiskMedical Underwriting process.
Qualifications and experience
- Matric/Grade 12
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- At least 2-3 years' experience within a Group Risk environment essential
Knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of the Group Risk Industry
- Good communication skills — both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
