What will you do?

 

  • Accurately capture, assess and process new business applications by issuing or declining cases in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the timely processing of new business cases upon receipt of proposals, ensuring it is processed efficiently and within agreed service standards.
  • Verify, validate, and maintain client information and supporting documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Proactively keeping our stakeholders informed if any delays are expected and to follow up on outstanding requirements and information to facilitate case completion.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and intermediaries via written correspondence or telephony.
  • Effectively manage workload priorities while maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve operational objectives and service delivery targets.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to develop additional skills within the environment to enable a multiskilled environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, good time management skills to be able to meet strict deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

 

Note: 

The nature of the business necessitates overtime during peak periods. Overtime requirements are dependent on operational demands and the volume of business received.

What will make you successful in this role?

 

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12

 

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in data capturing.
  • Experience working in a target-driven, high-volume production environment.

 

Knowledge:

  • General life assurance knowledge will be beneficial.
