Personal Assistant: Governance, Compliance & Finance

Who are we?
Sanlam Group Technology is responsible for the provision of a digitally enabled technology service as a group COE, drive business and transformation and provide group-wide digital and data architecture. We operate the various technology platforms and shared services, ensure Cyber and Information Security resilience, and act as technology governance and risk orchestrator for technology across Sanlam.
What will you do?
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide administrative, coordination and governance support to senior leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing executive diary management, coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, and confidential support across governance, risk, compliance and finance activities.
What will make you successful in this role?
- Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to senior leadership team within Sanlam Group Technology
- Manage executive calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Prepare agendas, meeting packs, minutes, and governance documentation
- Coordinate committee and management meetings
- Provide administration support for across Governance, Risk Compliance and Finance
- Process payments, invoices and related corporate administration accurately and timeously
- Prepare presentations, reports, and business correspondence
- Coordinate stakeholder communication and special events
- Manage office operations, supplies, and ad hoc administrative requests
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality across systems, platforms and engagements
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with vendors and external stakeholders
- Receive and host vendors and external stakeholders professionally
Qualification
- Matric certificate
- Administrative or Personal Assistant qualification
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal assistant or Senior Administrative Support role
- Experience supporting governance, risk, compliance, or finance functions or senior leadership functions will be advantageous
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot or similar productivity tools)
- Experience with travel coordination and meeting administration.
