We operate the various technology platforms and shared services, ensure Cyber and Information Security resilience, and act as technology governance and risk orchestrator for technology across Sanlam.
What will you do?
We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP ECC6 HCM Functional Consultant, with ambition to grow their career as an SAP Solution Architect for the Human Capital Solution within Sanlam.
The successful person will undergo a comprehensive training programme to develop skills in Solution Architecture discipline, through internal and external training programs, workshops, and certification courses to become a designated SAP Human Capital Solution Architect for Sanlam.
The person will be hired to as a SAP Human Capital Solution Architect, and will be expected the perform the responsibilities outlined below in the job responsibilities.
What will make you successful in this role?
Solution Architect:
- Business and technical stakeholder engagement and elicitation of business and technology goals, objectives, priorities and requirements.
- Translation of business and technical requirements into a solution architecture to be implemented (to address both business and technical requirements).
- Design and validate a complex solution architecture to address business and technical requirements and ensure successful implementation.
- Design solution integration architecture to address business and technical requirements and ensure successful implementation.
- Research new solutions to address a specific or general business problem.
- Provide solution advisory, recommendations and guidance on the SAP Human Capital platforms (SAP HCM ECC, SAP Success Factors and SAP Business Technology Platform, etc.).
- Contribute in the strategic planning and architecture definition of Sanlam SAP Human Capital landscape.
- Understand and interpret the business processes for which the solution architecture is being developed.
- Influence business and IT strategies ensuring collaborative alignment.
- Contribute to building Sanlam SAP Human Capital technical and application roadmaps (both for on-prem and in the cloud).
- Active involvement and provide guidance in the SAP Human Capital landscape systems migration or upgrades
- Document the overall solution architecture and integration to other systems in-line with the Sanlam Enterprise and Solution Architecture standards and practices.
- Present solutions architecture to different Sanlam forums (including the Sanlam Architecture Solutions Evaluation & Review forum).
- Undergo comprehensive training to develop skills in solution architecture capability, through internal and external training programs, workshops, and certification courses to become a designated SAP Human Capital Solution Architect for Sanlam.
Qualification
- Matric
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- SAP SuccessFactors certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP SuccessFactors BizX modules, Platform Administration, etc. are desirable.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in configuring and supporting SAP SuccessFactors modules including Employee Central, Performance and Goals, Recruiting, Onboarding, Succession and Development, Compensation, Learning, EC Payroll and Time Tracking.
- SAP SuccessFactors design and implementation experience in any of the following modules; Employee Central, Performance and Goals, Recruiting, Onboarding, Succession and Development, Compensation, Learning, EC Payroll and Time Tracking to align with organizational HR processes and requirements.
- Managing and monitoring integrations between SAP SuccessFactors modules, replication to SAP ECC6, and third-party systems
Technical Skills
- Understanding of IT Service Management principles and frameworks (e.g., ITIL 4) and project & program management methodologies.
- Understand of SAP architecture, design, configuration, implementation, testing and data governance, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
- Be a subject matter expert on latest SAP development tools and provide expert technical advice to business analysts and business stakeholders in search of SAP system solutions
- Knowledge of:
- SAP SuccessFactors modules and SAP HCM ECC modules such as Personal
- SAP HCM ECC modules such as Personal Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and Payroll.
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- SAP Integration Suite, Web Services, API’s and other integration patterns.
- ABAP, FIORI and/or SAPUI5 will be advantageous.
