What will you do?

As the System Analyst you will be responsible for the support to our stakeholder applications which will include the Administration of Pension funds and IT Infrastructure. You will require a deep understanding of how the systems work and perform troubleshooting on the systems, respond to assistance requests and handle technical issues. This position can be in either Bellville, Cape Town or in Centurion, Pretoria.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance on software applications and systems
  • Monitoring of daily processes and execution of daily applications and infrastructure health checks (after hours monitoring may be required)
  • Work with project teams to investigate complex issues
  • Identify and implement solutions and incident management
  • Work in partnership with other departments ensuring correct exchange of knowledge (applications and infrastructure)
  • Testing of new applications, upgrades or changes 
  • Analysis of incidents raised by the stakeholders (users) and identified root case 
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure problem resolution on various applications
  • IT Helpdesk support to all relevant parties
  • Logic access and server reviews
  • Assist in providing evidence in IT and Fund audits
     

Qualification and Experience

  • Matric
  • IT qualification would be advantageous
  • 3 – 5 years Employee Benefit experience required
  • Must have working experience with Sanlam employee benefits applications and systems such as MIP, MIPPFG, JUMP and STeP
  • Experience in Benefit Payments, Contributions, Specialized Functions, Fund Accounting would be highly advantageous
  • Application support experience would be advantageous
