The overall purpose of the role
The role provides dedicated support to accelerate Customer Due Diligence (CDD) screening and remediation for existing business. The successful candidates will assist with customer information follow-ups, screening updates, data validation, reprocessing and tracking of outstanding CDD requirements. The role is time-bound and focused on improving throughput, reducing the Customer Due Diligence backlog and supporting regulatory compliance delivery by end-2026.
Key responsabilites
- Conduct Customer Due Diligence screening and remediation activities in line with agreed processes and compliance requirements.
- Follow up on outstanding customer information and update progress accurately.
- Validate customer and business information received for completeness and quality.
- Reprocess cases where updated Customer Due Diligence requirements apply.
- Capture and maintain Customer Due Diligence information, screening outcomes and required supporting records.
- Update trackers, control registers and status reports for outstanding and completed cases.
- Escalate exceptions, missing information and process issues to the relevant team members.
- Support Risk and Compliance deliverables by meeting agreed turnaround times and quality standards.
Qualification
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Learner, internship or entry-level administration experience will be considered.
- Exposure to financial services, customer administration, risk, compliance or employee benefits will be advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fixed-term, high-volume remediation environment.

Turnaround time
