What will you do?
Job Purpose
The GhostDraft Forms developer in the Front-office BAU team is mainly responsible to design, build and maintain static and dynamic, data-driven forms and documents, accessed by Glacier clients and intermediaries from the Glacier portal. This role requires proven hands-on experience building dynamic, data-driven forms independently. This role is based at the Glacier Head office in Cape Town (Hybrid/On-site as required).
Key Outcomes
The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Forms Developer Front Office:
Build & Design
- Translate business requirements into functional, user-friendly templates.
- Collaborate with business analyst and stakeholders to refine requirements.
- Develop and maintain dynamic, pre-filled, reader-extended forms.
- Design templates from scratch or use existing form PDFs, templates and specifications as reference.
- Maintain a set format and layout standard across forms.
Data & Integration
- Configure data-driven prefill logic.
- Integrate forms with backend systems.
- Logic & Functionality
- Implement conditional logic and personalisation.
- Ensure validation and correct field behaviour.
Quality & Operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve document generation and formatting issues.
- Support continuous improvement of form design and performance.
- Support production stability through pro-active involvement in IT operations and post-implementation activities.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of forms, from design to production support.
Testing
- Conduct effective tests to verify successful form generation and functionality before handing over to test analyst, analysts and/or business users.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in document automation / CCM tools
- Experience with GhostDraft or a similar platform, like AEM Workbench/Designer, OpenText Exstream or SmartCOMM.
- Experience creating interactive or reader-extended PDF forms.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or
- Diploma in IT, Software Development.
- GhostDraft certification
- Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal qualification.

Form-Specific Skills
- Ability to configure prefill fields.

- GhostDraft Studio experience
- GhostDraft Data Workbench experience and/or experience with GhostDraft Scripting Language
- Insurance / financial services exposure
- Experience designing and building compliance-driven documents.
- Experience with quotation or application form generation
- AEM Workbench/Designer or React experience.
