Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic OE specialist who will play a key role in driving Sanlam Fintech’s culture, ensuring effective team structures, enhancing leadership capabilities, and supporting change management initiatives. This role will be instrumental in shaping an agile, high-performance organisation that delivers efficiently and is structured for sustainable growth. Please note that this is a 12-month FTC position.
What will you do?
1.Culture & Organisational Effectiveness
- Champion and embed Sanlam Fintech’s leadership principles and values in ways that influence behaviour and decision-making.
- Develop strategies to drive a high-performance, client-centric, and inclusive culture.
- Design and implement culture initiatives that enhance employee engagement and alignment with business objectives.
- Measure and report on cultural effectiveness using data-driven insights and feedback mechanisms enabling the business to design appropriate talent retention strategies.
2. Organisational Design & Team Effectiveness
- Assess and refine team structures to ensure alignment with business strategy and efficiency in delivery.
- Partner with business leaders to ensure teams are structured effectively to drive performance and collaboration.
- Develop frameworks to enhance cross-functional collaboration and accountability.
3. Leadership Development
- Design and deliver leadership development programs tailored to business needs.
- Work closely with Exco and senior leaders to build leadership capability at all levels.
- Drive leadership coaching, mentoring, and continuous learning initiatives.
4. Change Management & Transformation
- Lead change management initiatives to support structural and cultural transformation.
- Develop and execute change management frameworks, ensuring smooth transitions and high adoption.
- Track and measure the impact of change initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organisational Psychology or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in organisational development, effectiveness, or a related field, preferably in fintech or a high-growth environment.
- Strong experience in culture transformation, organisational design, leadership development, and change management.
- Proven ability to drive strategic HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Familiarity with agile ways of working.
