Sanlam Collective Investments (SCI)
Sanlam Collective Investments is the registered Collective Investment Scheme (CIS) Management Company for Sanlam and Sanlam Investments. As our MANCO, they expertly manage a platform for unit trusts and hedge funds, such as qualified investor hedge funds and retail investor hedge funds. They are regulated by the FSCA and play a risk management function, overseeing all regulatory reporting and post-trade compliance.
Role Objective:
Provide assistance to management with the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) remediation project and the key responsibilities include:
- Testing client files to ensure compliance with AML remediation requirements.
- Undergoing system training to understand automated processes, accessing relevant client documents, and storing testing evidence.
- Compiling a detailed AML testing report and associated evidence for management review and approval.
- Addressing any queries related to AML testing requirements.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B. Com) (Finance, Auditing, Accounting) or Law degree
- 1 to 2 years of related experience will be advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
