The cluster focusses on retail products, as well as group schemes.
What will you do?
- Develop and Maintain Strategic plan for Distribution division
- Provide input on sales policies and procedures
- Oversee sales team to meet the production targets
- Implement and maintain sales strategic plan for division, to ensure that division meets its set target, i.e. in terms of Annual Premium Income (API) and policy count and product mix
What will make you successful in this role?
Compile and Manage Budget for Division
- Produce sales budget to meet sales targets
- Manage and sign off Divisional budget
Develop and maintain distribution level of Sales division
- Oversee recruitment, development and maintenance of distribution channel
- Oversee the development of Sales team.
- Provide guidance and advice to Sales team.
- Maintain client relationship (i.e. education district offices, police station commanders, hospital heads)
Identify and develop new markets
- Develop a strategic plan to identify potential new markets
- Conduct research and produce marketing needs
- Oversee the management of business retention at sales level
- Negotiate and oversee the implementation of commercial stop order facilities with organizations
Administer Marketing and Sales
- Provide input in Sales meeting
- Liaise with Marketing and Sales Administration
- Provide outstanding feedback to relevant parties
- Oversee the management of business submission
Report progress to Regional Manager
- Provide input in Sales meeting
- Produce sales progress report
Oversee FAIS requirements
- Ensure that brokers have a proper understanding of products in line with Board notice 194.
- Oversee all fit and proper requirements are adhered to.
- Oversee processes that ensure contracted brokers are fit and proper.

Qualification and Experience:
- Matric
- 120 credits on NQF level 5 or B Degree (recognised by the FSB)
- Regulatory Examination Level 5: Representatives
- Regulatory Examination Level 1: Key Individuals
- 3 years Sales Management experience
- 2 years Project Management
- 5 years experience Insurance industry
