What will you do?
Job Purpose
The Business Consultant will be responsible for giving support to the Regional Manager offering excellent client service support and to maintain and grow relationships.
Key Outcomes
The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the International Business Consultant:
Office Administration (co-ordinating of Managers’ diary, preparing documentation, as well as overall smooth flow of day-to-day tasks).
Client & Advisor Enablement
- Facilitate onboarding and servicing of international clients and financial advisors.
- Provide technical guidance on offshore investment structures and platforms.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive support and issue resolution.
Operational Delivery
- Oversee account setup, funding, and transaction processing with accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
- Analyse the Pending Premium report daily to allocate premiums timeously
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, financial advisors, and external partners.
- Act as a liaison in resolving disputes and clarifying account-related matters.
- Represent Glacier International in strategic discussions and client and intermediary escalations.
Business Support & Growth
- Contribute to the development and refinement of offshore investment offerings.
- Support advisor training and enablement initiatives.
- Provide insights and feedback to inform product and service enhancements.
Reporting & Insights
- Deliver accurate reporting on client activity, service metrics, and operational performance.
- Use data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 and a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in financial services, preferably in offshore investments.
- Relevant tertiary qualification/CFP/RFP 1/2/3 will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of economic principles, environment and investment products.
- Exposure of the Investments/Sales Environment.
- Knowledge of Unit Trusts, Linked Products and Offshore products and investments.
- Valid Driver’s License (and own transport).
- Good communication and presentation skills (written & verbal).
