What will you do?
We are seeking a detail-oriented finance candidate with a strong proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functionality to support the successful implementation of Sage 300 within our insurance organization. This role involves working closely with the finance, IT, and implementation teams to accurately map general ledger accounts, validate financial data, and ensure seamless transition from legacy systems to Sage.
This role will be integral in the implementation of accounting applications and ensuring data integrity across different platforms and entities.
What will make you successful in this role?
Success in this role will require technical mastery, analytical acumen and strong communication skills.
• Advanced level of skill with Excel’s advanced functionalities such as complex formulas and pivot tables to build data models and process large datasets efficiently.
• Knowledge of insurance accounting would be ideal.
• Prior experience in ERP implementations or finance system migrations
• Attention to Data Quality, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and integrity is critical in this role.
• Effective Communication to various stakeholders
• Collaboration and willingness to learn
Qualification and Experience
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or Data Science
• 2-3 years of working experience in data migration and/or accounting experience.
• Financial services experience advantageous
Knowledge and Skills
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge and experience
• Accounting and data migration experience.
