What will you do?
- Calculate and produce accurate performance and attribution data.
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of composites in compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards(GIBS).
- Provide analysis and interpretation of GIPS results as required.
- Maintain systems and databases by ensuring departmental procedures are followed to review the accuracy and integrity of static and time series data for assigned portfolios, benchmarks and other information.
- Provide strong understanding of performance calculations in various systems and calculate manually as needed.
- Prepare, interpret and investigate anomalies in attribution/contribution reports used in the analysis of performance.
- Interact regularly with internal clients to research, analyse and resolve queries.
- Actively participate on special projects and support/implement process improvements/efficiencies.
Qualification and experience
- B Financial degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably with a strong numerical component.
- 3 or more years experience in Portfolio Performance and Attribution Analysis at a Financial Institution would be an advantage.
- Exposure to Statpro Performance Attribution would be a distinct advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills (VBA).
- Interest in financial markets and investment portfolios.
- SQL database programming skills.
- Programming skills (VB.Net)
