What will you do?
- Establish a client base of trusteeships, executorships, trust accounting and tax compliance matters.
- Provide tax and fiduciary advisory services to clients, including advice with regards to Wills dealing with local and offshore assets, local and offshore trusts, company structures, philanthropy and the tax and any exchange control consequences relating to all aspects of the services mentioned.
- Advise on wealth and estate planning.
- Draft Wills, Deeds of Trust, resolutions and minutes and conduct trustee meetings.
- Act as nominee of Sanlam Private Wealth as trustee and executor.
- Write technical articles and conduct presentations on fiduciary matters.
- Promote the Fiduciary and Tax offering to all stakeholders within the Sanlam Private Wealth business.

Qualification and experience
- Tertiary commercial or legal qualification
- Post graduate qualification in taxation, estate planning or legally related field
- 4 - 6 years’ substantive experience, at a high level, in the areas of trusts, wills and estates, related accounting, income tax for individuals, trusts and estates and investments.
- Experience with high-net-worth individuals
Knowledge and skills
- Ability to deal effectively and credibly with stakeholders such as senior managers, high net worth clients and colleagues in both spoken and written format.
- Excellent organizational skills, a team-orientated attitude and the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills within the tax and fiduciary industry.
- Ability to work quickly and independently while meeting the required quality levels.
- Demonstration of living the company’s values – being transparent, passionate and innovative
