What will you do?

The successful candidate will act as a Financial Assistant in the SanlamAllianz Group Finance Team and will report to the Finance Manager.

What will make you successful in this role?

Responsibilities will include, amongst others, the following:

 

  • Managing finance email inbox for invoice processing  
  • SAP Master Data Governance – supplier & product data
  • Accurate & timeously supplier invoice processing 

 

  • SAP Procure2Pay (P2P) processes will include:
  1. Creating Purchase Requisitions (PR)
  2. Creating Purchase Orders 
  3. Creating Service Entry Sheet (SES)/ Good Receipts 

 

  • Submitting invoices for payment 
  • Updating and maintaining the payment tracker 

 

  • Monitoring & Controlling P2P Process:
  1. Follow up on PR not approved 
  2. Follow up on SES not created 
  3. Follow up on payments not done 
  4. Providing proof of payment upon request to vendors
  5. Creating and maintaining creditor recons

 

  • Assisting executive assistants with finance related queries from Cost Center owners 
  • Providing assistance to SanlamAllianz Group Finance team for ad-hoc finance related queries
     

Qualification and Experience

  • NQF level 5 qualification
  • 2-5 years relevant experience in a similar role would be highly beneficial
     

Knowledge and Skills

  • SAP P2P knowledge
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Finance background, preferably in accounts payable
  • The ability to communicate with all levels of the business
