What will you do?
Job Purpose
The Head: OE & Development will be responsible for research, design and delivery of Glacier Organisational Effectiveness strategic interventions through the Human Capital team. These include Workforce engagement, Organisation Design, Digital transformation, Performance Management, Change Management. Supports the culture initiatives in partnership with Clusters. The role will assist in the design of respective frameworks, practices and tools to effectively deliver the Glacier OE interventions, as well as build OE capability within the Glacier HC team.

- Develop and lead organizational design initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Design and facilitate team effectiveness programs to boost performance
- Develop and manage a performance management framework aligned with organizational goals
- Drive Culture, Organisational Development & Change Enablement and transformation
- Create and implement employee engagement and culture initiatives
- Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic workforce planning decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent OD practices across the organization
- Development and implement the Employee Value Proposition & Experience practices
- Review, align and develop structures based on departmental strategic objectives and mandates
- Conduct organizational functionality assessments of the department’s internal systems and processes
- Manage and conduct job profiling and evaluation in line with HR Practices and national policy guidelines
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous) with 8 to 10 years related experience or qualified by extensive experience.
- Expert knowledge and experience in developing and driving strategic organizational effectiveness objectives within the business
- Minimum of 5 years' Organizational Development experience
- Proven track record in organizational design and change management
- In-depth understanding of legislative framework that governs Job Evaluation and Organisational Design
