What will you do?

The IT Operations & Governance Coordinator provides administrative, coordination, governance and quality assurance support to the IT & Operations Life team across multiple countries. The role focuses on effective IT governance, accurate reporting, audit readiness, and timely follow up of risks and actions. It further supports access management, system controls, compliance processes and IT operational quality.

What will make you successful in this role?

Responsibilities will include, amongst others, the following:


•    Recommend IT controls by identifying issues, proposing improved procedures and supporting efficiency improvements. 
•    Oversee user access management processes across countries, ensuring role-based access, segregation of duties and compliance with policies.
•    Perform regular quality assurance checks prevent audit findings.
•    Verify evidence of completed backups and recovery tests and ensure alignment with company standards and audit requirements.
•    Maintain governance documentation and provide reporting on compliance status, risks, and remediation progress.
•    Act as the primary liaison for Central IT Technical audits.
•    Coordinate internal and external technical audits, ensuring documentation is available and corrective actions are tracked to closure.
•    Manage the quality of development life cycle by reviewing adherence to standards, controls and change governance.
•    Support solution delivery quality, ensuring alignment with solution design and governance frameworks.
•    Contribute to the development of test plans and test cases, where required.
•    Liaise with country IT teams to ensure accurate and timeous updates on risks, issues, changes and governance activities.
•    Conduct quality checks on data migration activities and ensure compliance with the version release framework.
•    Support the development of business cases to align technology initiatives with the business strategies.
•    Assist with system user access training and provide support as required.
•    Prepare audit and governance status reports, escalating overdue actions.

Qualification and Experience

•    Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, or related field 
•    Relevant IT certifications will be advantageous.
•    3-5 years experience in IT administration, governance coordination, compliance or project support experience
•    Experience in environments reliant on accuracy, verification, operational and improving initiatives
•    Experience contributing to IT or operational initiatives

•    Solid understanding of IT governance, compliance processes and access management controls
•    Strong communication and coordination skills
•    Strong user support, training and guidance skills
