What will you do?
- Client Servicing – support the wealth manager through effective handing of administrative and client service tasks to ensure smooth and efficient client interactions. Key focus areas include coordinating the client review process, support compliance with regulatory requirements, and facilitate timely follow-up on client issues and requests.
- AML and Compliance – coordinate onboarding of clients, accurate submission of all KYC/AML/CDD documentation in support of the Head of Compliance and MLRO in ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations; provide ongoing support to Compliance for reassessment of client KYC and AML processes.
- Financial Controls – daily monitoring of incoming client funds, transfer of funds to client accounts, stock transfers and facilitating authorization of payments.
- Operations - ensuring efficiency of operating and administrative processes and driving improvements as may be required in both.
- Company Secretarial and Registered Office Compliance - complete all company secretarial filings punctually. Manage registered office functions efficiently, ensuring prompt handling of all official communications.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum of a degree in commerce/finance/accounting or equivalent professional qualification.
- A UK equivalent level 4 professional RDR compliant qualification would be an advantage.
- At least 4 years’ comparable experience in the financial services industry in an equivalent jurisdiction; preferably in the UK or Channel Islands.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of internal control concepts, preferably in a financial services context.
- Collaboration – experience in working inclusively with others / in a team context.
- Resilience – demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Very proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and similar applications.
