What will you do?
The Project Coordinator supports project managers and project executives by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring resource availability for successful project execution. This role is based in Cape Town.
Key outcomes
The following outcomes are expected to be achieved by the Project Coordinator:
Administrative Support: Assist project managers in planning and executing projects by managing schedules, budgets, and documentation.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Resource Management: Coordinate the availability of resources and materials needed for project tasks, ensuring that all team members have what they need to succeed.
Meeting Coordination: Organize and participate in project meetings, documenting minutes and action items to keep the project on track.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and issues, proposing solutions to mitigate them and ensuring that the project remains on schedule and within budget.
Assist with capacity management ensuring that sufficient capacity is available in sprints for support and maintenance when required
Assist with managing dependencies across delivery teams when required
What will make you successful in this role?
Qualifications and experience
Qualifications in Project Management, and\or Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Proven experience of at least 3- 5 years in project coordination in an Agile software development environment is required.
Proficiency in project finance management is advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential.
Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced technical environment.
Proficiency with project management software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
