What will you do?

Co-ordination of front office, operational and financial, secretarial duties to Chief Investment Officer and other Executives.

What will make you successful in this role?

Handle and resolve basic enquiries addressed to the Chief Executive Office and/or Chief Investment Officer (Executive Team)
Screen and prioritise telephone calls, references and other incoming correspondence to the  Executive Team
Screen visitors/clients to the Executive Team. 
Manage all outgoing correspondence via effective communication management (telephone calls, e-mails, mail, etc.)
Ensure all outgoing correspondence and presentations are professionally packaged and presented
Provide general office administration to the Executive Team by using advanced levels of computer technology to compile word documents, spreadsheets, tables and presentations
Maintain an effective filing/record-keeping system (electronically and manually)
Serve as secretary to Sanlam Investment Managment meetings and any other meeting as required by the Executive Team
Provide administrative, secretarial and other logistics support to visiting executives and clients
Closely liaise with Sanlam employees, clients and stakeholders to ensure a professional and effective working environment
Arrange and compile individual itineraries for travel and accommodation for the Executive team, visiting executives and clients
Manage the arrangements of refreshments during meetings and settle accounts of service providers
Manage use and records of general office utilities and stationery 
Perform adhoc duties as assigned by the Executive Team

Qualifications and Experience

Secretarial Certificate/ Diploma
2 Years relevant experience
Investment management experience will be an added advantage.

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent English (verbal & written) language skills; and/or additional local Namibian language will be a competitive advantage, etc.
MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel & Power point) and Company’s software.
Strong organizational skills, knowledge of office management software, and excellent communication skills. 
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage  office administration.
Ability to meet deadlines;
Ability to work in team related environment;

Accurate and organised;
Reliable, hardworking and accountable.
