What will you do?

The focus of this position is to partner with insurance brokers through the provision of advice and support on insurance policies and products. The incumbent should be dynamic and results-driven to build, support, and grow our broker ecosystem. He should possess an in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and its products. The role is pivotal in ensuring that brokers are well-equipped, motivated, and supported to deliver greater sales, client satisfaction, and market share growth.

What will make you successful in this role?

Broker Identification & Appointment
Conduct market analysis to identify potential brokers aligned with SanlamAllianz values
Ensure timely and compliant broker appointments and contract execution

Training & Development
Deliver comprehensive product training to brokers.
Equip brokers with modern sales techniques, CRM tools, and industry insights
Promote continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and ongoing education initiatives

Relationship Building
Establish and maintain consistent, professional communication channels with brokers to ensure ongoing support and collaboration
Build trust and loyalty by providing transparent, reliable, and consistent support.

Sales & Marketing Support
Design local marketing strategies and campaigns.
Offer co-branded marketing materials to enhance visibility.
Empower brokers with tools and support to maximize lead generation and accelerate business outcomes

Market Share Expansion
Monitor broker performance (sales volume, conversion rates, client retention)
Develop targeted growth strategies with high-performing brokers

Performance Management, Review & Feedback
Conduct regular broker performance reviews
Provide constructive feedback and actionable solutions

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
Secure compliance and regulatory requirements
Mitigate risks by ensuring brokers operate within legal frameworks

Qualification and Experience

School leaving certificate
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
Proven experience of minimum 2 years in broker management, sales or financial services

Knowledge and Skills

Strong knowledge of insurance products and market trends
Excellent people, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to analyse performance data and develop growth strategies
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks in financial services
Excellent english (verbal & written) language skills; An additional local Namibian language will be a competitive advantage
Strong interpersonal skills
