What will you do?

To support the Head of the Agency Division in driving strategic growth, operational efficiency, and performance excellence across the Agency distribution channel. To ensure continuity of leadership, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and oversee the execution of key strategic and operational plans.

What will make you successful in this role?

Strategic Support & Market Development
•    Assist in the development and execution of market penetration strategies
•    Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
•    Support the implementation of recruitment and retention strategies for advisors
Training & Development Oversight
•    Coordinate training programs for Branch Managers (BMs), Sales Managers (SMs), and New Business Consultants (NBCs)
•    Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements
•    Ensure alignment of training content with strategic goals and compliance standards
Performance Management
•    Monitor and report on performance metrics for BMs and SMs
•    Assist in the allocation of sales targets and resources across regions
•    Use CRM and BI tools to identify performance gaps and recommend interventions
Operational Coordination
•    Act as liaison between the Agency Division and support departments (e.g., Claims, Issuing, Marketing)
•    Ensure timely resolution of operational issues affecting advisor performance
•    Support the implementation of feedback mechanisms from BMs, SMs, and Advisors
Compliance & Governance
•    Ensure adherence to Namibian insurance, and other relevant and applicable legislation and internal policies
•    Support internal audits and compliance training initiatives
•    Monitor risk areas and escalate concerns to the Head of Division
Reporting & Forecasting
•    Prepare and review monthly and quarterly performance reports
•    Assist in forecasting and strategic planning based on market trends and internal data
•    Recommend strategic adjustments based on performance insights

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in insurance distribution, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management/supervisory role
Strong understanding of the Namibian insurance market and advisor distribution models
Proven experience in performance management and strategic planning
