What will you do?

This role will report to the Agency Manager and is tasked to undertake the ongoing focused sourcing, recruitment and selection of new suitably profiled advisers aligned to business and manpower needs, as well as the coaching, vesting, developing and performance managing newly recruited advisors for the first 24 months of their careers ensuring they are retained, viable and productive as quickly as possible. The remuneration of the Vesting Specialist could vary depending on area and size of responsibility. The Agency Manager will have the right to set production and advisor targets and determine additional duties. The recruitment and selection process will be done in coordination with the Recruitment and Coaching Specialist.

What will make you successful in this role?

Coordinate with the Recruitment and Coaching Specialist to recruit advisers in alignment with business needs, based on formal targets set by the Agency Manager
Collaborate with the Recruitment and Coaching Specialist to ensure effective screening of advisers through job assessments
Oversee the activities, productivity, and overall performance of appointed advisers
Ensure that both formal and on-the-job training for advisers is conducted to the required standards—particularly, but not exclusively, by implementing the vesting training manual in a practical and measurable way
Provide focused coaching and support for the vesting of appointed advisers

Qualification and Experience

Grade 12 certificate or similar. HR Diploma or degree or HED or Commercial/Marketing qualifications will be added advantage. 
Minimum of 3 years of financial service experience, preferably in sales or sales management.

Knowledge and Skills

Computer literate (MS Office and Company's Software)
Extensive knowledge and experience of the Life insurance industry and excellent marketing, sales and/or financial management skills.

Office & Field Position  (Travel will be required)
