Overview
The Wealth Manager will be responsible for acquiring, managing and growing high-net-worth client relationships through the provision of holistic wealth management solutions. The role requires a commercially driven professional who can identify client needs, provide strategic wealth advice and contribute to the growth of the Wealth Management business.
What will you do?
- Acquire, manage and grow relationships with high-net-worth private clients.
- Build and grow a profitable client book through new client acquisition.
- Provide holistic wealth management, investment and financial planning solutions.
- Conduct regular client reviews and provide strategic wealth advice.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and grow revenue.
- Develop a deep understanding of client financial objectives and wealth planning needs.
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers and specialist teams to deliver integrated wealth solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with professional intermediaries and referral partners.
- Monitor financial market developments and their impact on client portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, governance and policy requirements.

Qualification and experience
- BCom / Honours / CA(SA) / CFA / MBA / LLB.
- CFP qualification would be advantageous.
- Higher Diploma in Tax would be advantageous.
- FAIS representative status and RE5, where applicable.
- Proven experience within private client wealth management, financial planning or investment management.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing high-net-worth client relationships.
- Proven ability to develop and grow a profitable client book.
- Existing high-net-worth client network and/or transferable client book will be a distinct advantage.
