This career opportunity is available at Commercial Portfolio Management Business Support (Operations) in Santam Broker Solutions for the Broker Implementation & Support Specialist who will be based in Bellville/Johannesburg

What will you do

Support the Outsource Business Commercial Portfolio Management (CPM) system and data migration journey Support enhancements of Outsource Business data pipeline, B2B integration applications, and processes of quality implementation and ensure the end users are upskilled and support post implementation day to day.

What will make you successful in the role

•  Basic understanding of a policy and system migration journey.  
• Effective stakeholder engagement (Technology Solutions, Distribution, internal administration functions and, brokers etc.)
• Understanding the process of Building technology as an enabler and driver of innovation, efficiency to enable optimal decision making. (SDLC Framework)
• Upskill and support the end users of technology.
• Support successful delivery of technology to CPM Migration as well as active participation in establishment of new system engagement models for CPM.
• Understanding of Release and Configuration management
• Support desk management  

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology as well as insurance-related qualifications and experience
• 3-5 years' experience in Short-term insurance
• 3-5 years’ experience in Business Support (recommended)
• Agile Fundamentals & understanding of Product Ownership (recommended)
• Experience in project management and implementation. (recommended)
• Understanding of business process optimization (recommended)
• Experience in data management and migration processes (recommended)
• Proven experience in liaising with external parties (i.e. brokers)
