The Role

A great contract opportunity for a Quality and Risk Consultant, within Commercial and Personal, Tied Agencies division, based at Sanlam H/O, Bellville, has become available.

What will you do?

The successful candidate will be required to monitor, analyse, and report on the submission of relevant compliance documentation for short term insurance. 
This role is key to maintain the standard set for the monitoring of recordkeeping and to adhere to FAIS legislation.
 

What will make you successful in this role?

•    To ensure compliance with related regulations and legislation (FAIS, FICA, money laundering etc.)
•    Ensure adherence to Risk management policies, practices and processes (including reporting)
•    Santam products (including Niche Business)
•    Provide input to sales advice process and compliance governances related to this.
•    Ensure Records of advice are managed in line with legislation.
 

Qualification and Experience

•    Matric 
•    Regulatory Exam 5 Qualification 
•    A short-term insurance related qualification would be preferred.
•    Minimum 60 Commercial Lines Short-term Insurance credits   
•    Minimum 1-3 years working experience in Commercial Lines in an advice or intermediary role. 
•    Strong administration, systems, process orientation/background
•    Quality assurance experience advantageous
