- Attending to complaints regarding repair work, settlement of claims.
- Entry point for complaints from the Client Care Department (Ombudsman, Internal Arbitrator)
- Providing technical assistance in all matters claims related.
- Facilitate Claims Committee meetings
- Facilitate Rejection letter process
- Audit claims to determine training requirements for assessors
- Entry point for Claims Technical Advice
- Technical support to assessors
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric
- At least 5 years’ experience in the non-motor claims environment (assessment)
- Up to date with current claims processes
- Customer service -interaction with service providers and customers to determine their needs.
- Computer literacy (MS office)
- Symbility literacy
- Numeracy and/or Cost Quantification Abilities
- Strength is Determining Merits and Quantum
- Report Writing Skills
- Intermediate Certificate in Insurance Studies or Equivalent Qualification will be advantageous
