What will make you successful in this role?


  • Attending to complaints regarding repair work, settlement of claims.
  • Entry point for complaints from the Client Care Department (Ombudsman, Internal Arbitrator)
  • Providing technical assistance in all matters claims related.
  • Facilitate Claims Committee meetings
  • Facilitate Rejection letter process
  • Audit claims to determine training requirements for assessors
  • Entry point for Claims Technical Advice
  • Technical support to assessors

Qualifications and Experience


  • Matric
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the non-motor claims environment (assessment)
  • Up to date with current claims processes
  • Customer service -interaction with service providers and customers to determine their needs.
  • Computer literacy (MS office)
  • Symbility literacy
  • Numeracy and/or Cost Quantification Abilities
  • Strength is Determining Merits and Quantum
  • Report Writing Skills
  • Intermediate Certificate in Insurance Studies or Equivalent Qualification will be advantageous
