CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Santam’s Motor Claims department has a position available for a Motor Wreck Administrator based in Hill On Empire, Gauteng.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The Motor Wreck Administrator is responsible for the settlement of uneconomical to be repaired motor claims in terms of the applicable policy wording on a national basis, after a quantum assessment completed by internal or external assessors or system intelligence confirmed the vehicle to be uneconomically repairable.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE?

•    Settlement of all motor wreck claims processed internally or externally. 
•    Ensure that correct Settlement is paid in terms of applicable policy wording, terms and conditions and SOP’s. 
•    Validate and confirm quantum is correct of all motor wreck damage claims. 
•    Arrange for collection of required documentation and keys for claims settlement. 
•    Ensure and verify salvage case for upliftments is created and vehicle stocked in before claim settlement. 
•    Communication to all stakeholders during the claims process every 48 hours. 
•    Settle the claim and load payment instruction. 
•    Make recommendations for improvements. 
•    Handling escalations, disputes or complaints in regard to settlement process made with the client and or intermediary. 
•    Finalise claim once all payments are completed on the claims system.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

•    Matric Certificate 
•    Wreck claims or claims experience (minimum 2 years work experience with references)
•    Knowledge of Technical Mechanic or Automotive Motor Body Repairs (Advantageous)
•    Estimation of vehicle damage and assessing of said damages (Advantageous)
•    Audatex / Abuntex formal training (Advantageous).
