Santam Namibia is offering an exciting internship opportunity in the Legal Access Department, part of the Recovery and Liability Claims business unit. This role provides valuable exposure to the handling of legal access claims and the chance to gain practical experience in a dynamic insurance environment who will be based in Windhoek, Namibia.

What will you do?

As a Legal Access Intern, you will support the team in managing legal access claims from registration through to settlement. Your responsibilities will include assisting with claim documentation, verifying client information, and helping ensure accurate record-keeping. You will gain practical exposure to the legal and insurance environment by working alongside experienced consultants, supporting communication with clients and legal practitioners, and learning how claims are assessed and resolved.

What will make you successful in this role?

The candidate will be expected to perform (but not limited to) the following duties:

• Assisting with the registration and administration of Legal Access claims
• Verifying documentation and ensuring accurate record-keeping
• Supporting the claims process from registration 

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 22 points in Grade 11 (new curriculum) or Grade 12 (old curriculum)
• Diploma in Legal studies
• Experience working at a law firm will be advantageous
• Must be a Namibian citizen
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in the MS Office Suite
• Ability to communicate effectively in Afrikaans and English; proficiency in an indigenous language will be an added advantage
  
  

Foreign qualifications must be submitted with an evaluation report from the Namibia Qualification Authority (NQA).
