Santam Namibia Brokers Solutions has a position available for a Procurement CoOrdinator, who will be based in Windhoek Namibia.

What will you do?

The Procurement Co-Ordinator has a critical role driving strategic sourcing, contract governance, supplier performance, and procurement excellence to enable commercial value, compliance, and operational integrity. The role ensures disciplined procurement execution, strengthens supplier partnerships, and supports sound business decision-making through effective management, data integrity, and stakeholder alignment. 

What will make you successful in this role?

The candidate will be expected to perform (but not limited to) the following duties:

• Implement and manage compliant supplier and service contracts across assigned categories;
• Lead sourcing activities, supplier evaluations, and commercial negotiations within approved authority;
• Monitor supplier performance, contract compliance, and procurement risks;
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs;
• Maintain accurate procurement data and reporting to support decision-making and compliance;
• Drive end-to-end sourcing while balancing cost, quality, risk, and changing business priorities. 

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 22 points in Grade 11 (new curriculum) or 12 (old curriculum);
• Relevant Bachelors degree / national diploma qualification in Procurement / CIPS;
• Minimum 4 years’ end-to-end procurement experience, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and contract management;
• Experience in short term insurance procurement will be an advantage;
• Must be a Namibian citizen;
• Computer literacy, with proficiency in the M365;
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Afrikaans and English;
• Valid driver’s licence; 

Foreign qualifications must be submitted with an evaluation report from the Namibia Qualification Authority (NQA).

• Good understanding of compliance, governance, and risk management principles;
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / M365 and procurement systems;
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines;
• Problem Solving (ability to Understand the Santam Group Sourcing role and link back to claims environment).
